Fight for what you f*ckin believe in, it doesn’t matter who has your back, and who doesn’t. All great heroes, past & present, are rarely acknowledged as such. Mandela was considered a terrorist, and some of the government officials mourning his death, were on the other side once, trying to put him in prison (which they did successfully for 27 years)

In a world where two men kissing is more disturbing than the fact that 5000 children die daily from diseases directly related lack of access to clean water, heroes are more and more necessary.

If we only see heroes when they look like us, or fight for a cause that directly affects us, then we’re just as much a part of the problem.

The biggest enemies towards bettering the world aren’t bad guys who curl their fingers laughing ‘muahaha’, it’s an apathetic society, that cares little for anything outside it’s own interests.

Human rights only exists when they’re for all humans, not just the ones that share views on life like you.

If you know Gurbaksh Singh’s story, but not Pussy Riot’s, it’s time to Google yourself out of your bubble. Jennifer Lawerence is more relevant than Edward Snowden because we allowed that to happen. Sikh Knowledge not only produced BAAGI, he lives it, whether other’s find that comfortable or not.

The biggest impact you can have on this planet, will start with the changes you make within yourself.

Open your mind, fight for what you love, anyway you know how, be a f*ckin hero.
